Review- Eden Hall
Eden Hall Day Spa recently held an inspirational evening in aid of Breast Cancer Care, which welcomed over 100 guests to enjoy champagne, canapés and to gather together to raise money for a good cause.
The event took place in the popular conservatory of the hall where money was raised via the ‘prize tree’ whereby everyone paid £5 to enter and were guaranteed a prize from the tree, with generous prizes ranging from Aromatherapy and Elemis products used by Eden Hall to weekend’s away .
Guests were then offered the opportunity to stay on after the event to enjoy the spa facilities and try a taster treatment out for themselves and this was our queue to get changed into our dressing gowns and slippers…
Inner strength Taster
I was lucky enough to experience a taste of the new Inner Strength scrub & wrap. Firstly my hands were cleansed and polished using beautifully fragranced exfoliating grains, followed by a layering of rich rose gel and Inner Strength oil. I then drifted away with an Ayurvedic scalp massage as my hands were enveloped and hydrated in the cotton mittens. This taster treatment left my skin radiant, soft and smooth, as well leaving me in a positive state if mind.
The facilities at Eden Hall are second to none, with a large salt water vitality swimming pool, Jacuzzi’s, massage jet washes and outdoor hot tubs there really is plenty of choice and this is before you even enter the various ‘Aqua Detox Centres’ including, the Rose Infused Steam Room, Herbal Caldarium, Sauna, Saunarium (a combination of sauna & steam room) Specialist showers & water therapies.
There are several areas of relaxation that allow you to sleep including the slumber and chill-out lounges or you can simply dose in the conservatory, or if you want a more active experience at Eden Hall there are gym facilities as well as exercise and relaxation classes in their studio to take part in.
So far the spa have raised over £930 for Breast Cancer Care and will continue to raise funds through their A Day For Anne Elizabeth, spa package priced at £115 and available Monday – Friday throughout October 2013 with the target of £1000 +
