Panda Mami- All you can eat buffet
Panda Mami has come to Nottingham and if you aren’t familiar with this all you can eat buffet chain, then let me tell you this is one worth booking in for. I have never really been a huge fan of all you can eat buffets, being a vegetarian, I often struggle to find it worthwhile value for money wise, given I am limited to the dishes I can eat, however Panda Mami’s selection is ample with dishes from all around the world…
I was recently invited to the opening event in Nottingham, located in the city centre of Trinity Square, on Milton Street just opposite the Victoria shopping centre and the evening consisted of arrival drinks and a taster of their menu, as we were invited to help ourselves to the all you can eat buffet selection and what I love most about this concept is not only the value for money, but that this is where you can actually get away with eating cuisines from all around the world on the same plate!
My favourite dishes came from the Italian and Indian food stands, consisting of pizza and curry- yes, the balance of nutritional value tends to go out of the window at this point, but who cares right? Just pop a few veggies on your plate and you’re good to go!
As you would expect there were chefs doing their thing behind stations cooking up a storm on the made to order dishes such as the Chinese noodles and the dessert selection was a colourful array of miniature cakes and mousses, with an ice cream machine and to my delight hot crumbles and custard.
The service was very friendly and the cocktails are a must try if you like brightly coloured, fruity holiday style drinks then this is your place- we made our way through a couple of their signature Panda Mami cocktails during the evening as we watched them being made through a mini cocktail masterclass which was fun.
The highlight for me were the amazing bird themed fruit and vegetable table centre pieces hand carved by the talented team there, which took several hours to create.
