PURE INDULGANCE AT Neo Elegance Skin Clinic

Never have I ever been to such a plush and luxurious skin clinic as Neo elegance; in fact I don’t think I have ever been to a specialist skin clinic full stop, so when the lovely owner Fiz invited Sherylyn and I over to each experience one of her treatments, we jumped at the chance to see for ourselves what we had already been following on Instagram for some time…

The clinic is located in the impressive private Vernon Steet in Derby, which consists of a row of white town houses with a very exclusive ‘Londonesque’ feel to it.

Having previously owned a clinic in Mayfair, Fiz is clued up on everything there is to know about skincare and specialist treatments, including every kind of facial you have heard of, as well as various types of massages and more.

Treatments include chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, treamtents for acne/scarring and sun damage, as well as specialist facials from a Korean facial (which features ultrasound, LED and microcurrents), to a HYDROcleanse facial, using cleansing, exfoliation and hydration to provide a radiant glow and radiant glow is what I walked out with following my beautiful bespoke facial with Fiz.  My facial was bespoke as Fiz often likes to see you for a consultation first to understand your skin type.  Mine is generally balanced and sometimes on the dry side, if I have worn fake tan or am tired and overworked (which is often!), therefore the skin consultation and analysis is really useful for both parties to identify if there are any irregularities, such as pore blockage, bacterial presence, sun damage etc and the clever 3d scanner in clinic helps you to understand all of this and more along with telling you your skins age.

To back step slightly, prior to our treatments, Sherylyn and I were given a warm welcome at the door after parking very easily right outside the clinic (parking is metered but very reasonably priced).  We were shown through to the waiting area, which immediately had the wow factor, very Middle Eastern inspired with plus furnishings and gold everything!

We were offered a glass of elderflower fizz and completed our consultation forms.

Next came the treatments, as were both shown to our own treatment’s rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs.  The treatment couch was comfortable, the room smelt amazing and was low lit, so I instantly felt at ease.

My facial lasted one hour and as it was bespoke I put my complete trust in Fiz to choose the right kind of products and procedure for my skin, which was oh so relaxing at the same time.

There were so many different layers of lovely smelling products applied to my skin, which both cleansed, exfoliated, hydrated, toned and moisturised my skin, as well as a mask which felt like it contained a serum which felt very nourishing, followed by the red LED light, which is great for acne, pigmentation and anti-ageing- the latter being the only one I was concerned about!

Fizz proudly states that she incorporates lots of massage within her facials to which I thoroughly enjoyed, helping me to relax and sink into that couch even deeper.

Following my facial- I was shown back downstairs, where rose tea and cake awaited us- what a treat! The cake was a chocolate with fresh cream and  trawberries and there were a number of different herbal and fruit teas to select from the menu- a welcomed finale to what was a wonderful visit to Neo elegance Clinic.

It is worth mentioning that afternoon tea is also available to pre book at the clinic along with your treatments as a package- pure indulgence.
